Professor Moriarty

The beetles in this family are commonly known as leaf beetles. The family has over 35,000 species and 2,500 genra. many in this family are significant agricultural pests such as the Colorado potato beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata), the asparagus beetle (Crioceris asparagi), and the cereal leaf beetle (Oulema melanopus).

A genus of green lacewings in the family Chrysopidae, with over 60 species. Some of the species from this genus have been used a biological controls as the larvae are mainly predators of aphids.

Chrysopilus is common, worldwide genus of predatory snipe flies. There are approximately 300 species in the genus, including fossil members that are sometimes found in amber.
