Myzia is a genus of beetles in the Coccinellidae family. These are medium-sized beetles, typically 4–7 mm long, with the characteristic dome-shaped body of Coccinellids. Usually reddish, orange, or yellow elytra with black spots, though patterns vary between species. Some individuals may appear darker with pale margins. The generally have fewer and larger spots compared to other genera. Pronotum (the plate behind the head) is typically pale with distinct black markings. These beetles are primarily predatory, feeding on aphids and other small soft-bodied insects, which makes them beneficial in natural pest control.
