Walking on the Water - Tewkesbury Abbey

 

According to the bible, in the forth watch of the night, Jesus walked on the water, thus the night sky in this Hardman representation, with St. Peter being called by Jesus to walk on the water at Bethsaida.

The scrolls read: "Divinity" and "Might".
