This small boy is one of the weepers on the side of the monument to Thomas Cave (d1613) at Stanford-on-Avon. He is the only child represented on the tomb amongst six other siblings that are depicted as adults.

This stained glass window, created in 1918 by Arild Rosenkrantz, depicts the Archangel Raphael guiding the young Tobias, a scene drawn from the Book of Tobit. The artist’s style combines late Pre-Raphaelite influence with early 20th-century symbolism, using rich color and flowing line to convey both tenderness and divine protection.
