Saint Lubin, or Leobinus, was a 6th century bishop of Chartres. This window from the early 13th century depicts events in his life, and was donated to the cathedral by the Winesellers and innkeepers of the town of Chartres.

Construction of Bourges cathedral began in 1195 and was finally completed and dedicated to St Stephen in 1324. With its five portals the western façade, which was completed in 1230, is the widest of any Gothic church spanning some 40 metres.
These stained glass windows by Max Ingrand are on the south aisle of the church of Saint-Taurin in Evreux. They depict Abraham sacrificing Isaac, The Mass, and the uncommon theme of Christ in the Wine Press.

Saints were venerated in the medieval period either by relics, statuary, or by painted representations, either on walls, canvas, screens, or glass. Mostly a saint would be local to a particular area. However, the fame of some saints spread far from their place of origin.
This stained glass window by Charles Eamer Kempe, at St Peter's Market Bosworth Leicestershire, is an example of late Victorian Gothic Revival art, depicting Saints George, Peter, and Margaret in three tall, richly colored panels. Each saint stands beneath an elaborate architectural canopy, rendered in delicate tracery and glowing jewel tones that catch and filter the light with remarkable depth.
This window by Hardman & Co., illustrates a Salvator Mundi in the typanum, whilst below are three panels depicting St Agnes, The Virgin Mary, and St Dorothy.

San Marco is a Dominican church and convent in Florence famous for its well preserved frescos by Fra Angelico and other renaissance artists.
Tomb in memory of Sarah Baroness Braye (d1862) by Mary Thorneycroft.
This monument by John Flaxman is to Sarah Morley (d1784) who died a few days after giving birth whilst travelling back to England from India. Both Sarah and her child were buried at sea.
