In 1893 the painter Jacque Galland and glassmaker Espirt Gibelin won a competition to create 10 stained glass windows, at Orleans Cathedral, depicting the life of Joan of Arc.

Made in 1895 by Burlison & Grylls this Transfiguration scene was give to St Etheldreda and St Wilfred church, Guilsborough by Lady Cicely Clifton. Time has not been kind to this window with a number of the faces and clothing fading.
