At Yelvertoft Northamptonshire is the tomb of John Dycson, who served as rector of Yelvertoft from 1439 to 1445, is a fine example of 15th-century English funerary art in the Perpendicular Gothic style. The monument consists of an alabaster effigy resting upon a low tomb chest, its sides richly decorated with panels of quatrefoils and other intricate tracery characteristic of the period.

The floor slab to Lady Harrington in St Mary’s Church, Gayton, is a fine example of 17th-century commemorative stonework, combining formal design with a strikingly personal tone. Carved from smooth local limestone, its simple border and restrained scrollwork at either end frame an inscription notable for both its clarity and warmth.
Considered one of the finest brass monuments in England, this monument is dedicated to Laurence St. Maur (d1337) dean of Hereford.
