The moths and other insects have been updated to include links to the Encyclopedia of Life, Larval food plants, and Distribution maps.
Reorganisation of the Geometridae and Noctuidae families to include subfamilies has been completed and work started on the Erebidae family.
The contact form has been broken for a while. This is now fixed. Sorry to anyone that has tried to communicate with the site recently.
The number of genus of moths has expanded rapidily over the last 18 months as a result of garden trapping. The Geometridae and Noctuidae families already have 60+ genre. The addition of subfamilies will reduce the size of the lists that expand for these groups of moths.This work will take place over the next few weeks.
The site has now passed 6000 pages. A large number of lepidoptera pages have been added and all entomology pages translated to French.
Sometime ago a site update caused the related images tab to cease working. This has been fixed, and now galleries are re-established for the pages.
The number of pages on this site has now surpassed 5000, we've gone from http to htpps, and moved hosting servers. The later changes have been 'interesting' but it seems that the kinks have now been ironed out.
A new round of church crawling has been undertaken and a number of new churches photographed the Midland Churches pages will gradually be updated to reflect the information recorded there, and individual monuments, stained glass, and sculptures recorded here.
The site has been updated with a new backend and front end. Some links may not currently work, but we'll try to get them back as soon as possible.
Another year almost over, and this site now has over 3400 pages.

A new glossary module has been added to the site. The previous glossary can be accessed from the Page index link.
From the new Glossary pages you can search for all pages that contain the particular term. On the pages themselves if a Glossary term is used then a link is provided to the definition, hovering over the link will also display the definition on a popup box.
Following an update on twitter posts were not automatically being fed to twitter. This was due to the way that applications now have to be authorized to post to twitter. This has now been fixed.
