Perpendicular Gothic

The Perpendicular Gothic style was a development of the Decorated Style and spanned from the late C13 to the mid C16. Emphasis is on strong vertical lines, seen most markedly in window tracery and wall panelling. The windows became very large, allowing stained glass artists greater scope.
