This painted priant figure before a prayer table in a covered alcove at Ely Cathedral is a monument to Dean Henry Ceasar. He bequeath a large sum of money to Jesus College and for increased payments to lay Clerks and minor Canons. However, the money was lent to Charles I at the start of the English Civil War and never repaid.
